i was excited nak tengok this drama since the blind date scene. aku spoil kan diri aku dengan tengok scene tu dekat tiktok. bukan sikit, tapi full aku tengok. and mmg favourite gilaaa. how heetae (lelaki) layan je myeonghee (perempuan) punya perangai. cute habess.
drama ni timeline dia is during 1980. the year gwangju uprising happened. gwangju uprising ni ialah peristiwa di mana gwangju punya rakyat ditindas dan dibunuh tanpa sebab oleh askar-askar korea sendiri. sebabnya? i dont really know but sebab masalah politik lah for sure. so this drama is inspired by true story lah. i mean not the love story between heetae and myeonghee but the gwangju rise.
some sort of thing happened, menyebabkan myeonghee menggantikan tempat sooryeon in a blind date which is obviously with heetae. and from that blind date lah everything went wrong.
myeonghee and heetae starts to fall in love. but sudden2 sooryeon punya family nak cepatkan pertunangan bcs sooryeon ditangkap oleh ayah heetae. and macam2 lah jadi.
kalau ikut hati panjang review ni, tapi aku rasa macam kalau type panjang2 and cerita pasal drama ni banyak2, macam annoying pulak. so aku pendekkan.
what i like in this drama is, how tragic their love story is. aku sangatlahhh suka ye dengan kisah cinta yang innocent2 nih. but drama ni make it better sebab dorang punya bukan setakat innocent, but also tragic. and tragic dia tu bukan bishe2, mmg tragic habis.
but walaupun macam2 jadi, dua2 stay strong as long as they have each other. god, the love they have. aku kapan, ya allah. but throughout the story, memang banyak benda jadi. banyak ups and downs. kau belum sempat enjoy the sweetness, BOOM a tragic thing happened. aku pun macam baru nak sengih tiba2 terus jadi blur amende tiber baru jadi.
storyline the best, aku tak bosan. but! heartache yang aku rasa is totally on another level. dia bukan setakat sakit hati sebab marah au, dia memang sakit sebab aku sedih tengok myeonghee kena layan macam mana, penderitaan dia. and jangan cakaplah berapa banyak aku maki. dari awal sampai habis adaaaa je aku maki. tak maki hwang ki nam, aku maki sooryeon. ha semua lah aku maki.
acting is on point habis! lee do hyun memang one of the best actor lah. aku tengok drama ni memang feeling habis. go minsi pun sama, mmg grasp the feeling habis2an. sampaikan aku yang tengok pun boleh keluarkan bermacam2 emosi. totally salute!
ending? hmmm for sure sad lah. but for me not really sad. it's just, what you called it, beautiful. the kind of real love that really exists, the kind of longingness, everything. episode last was just too beautiful, especially the timeline in 2021. just perfect!
totally recommended! but prepare a whole bunch of tissues with you. if not, akan jadi macam aku, jahanam bantal aku jadi tadah air mata. one of the best drama yang buatkan macam2 emosi aku rasa.
